Meet the Restorers:

Kevin
Master Restorer

Kevin opened the shop to the public in the fall of 2005. His interest in
antiques and restoration shows through in his work. He takes great pride in
turning a neglected piece into a family treasure. Kevin's day to day
responsibilities include overseeing every detail in the restoration process
from start to finish. Kevin also finds time to preform some repair work that is
needed. Kevin still does all customer home pick ups and deliveries himself
on Saturday's!

Keith
Chair Caning, Customer Service & Repair

If your chair bottom is dilapidated or sagging Keith is the one you need to
see! He is experienced in all types of chair caning including lace cane, sheet
cane, flat reed, rush, danish cord and shaker tape. Along with the task of
chair caning, Keith also handles customer telephone calls, special orders,
as well as scheduling for Saturday pick up and deliveries. When time allows,
Keith pitches in helps perform repair work on select furniture pieces.

Roger
Lace Chair Caning

Roger passed away on January 1st, 2011... He was loved by all and is dearly
missed by family and friends. You are always in our thoughts... Rest In
Peace!

Frances
Lace Chair Caning & Customer Service

Frances is the one to see for all your hand lace cane chair needs. She
averages 35 hours of handwork for each seat bottom or seat back and that
can be pretty tough on the fingers. Her dedication and attention to detail
means the customer's treasured family pieces look like new when finished
and are sure to last for years to come. Frances also assists with customer
service whenever time allows.

Justin
Restoration Assistant

Justin is the newest member of our team. He is learning all the duties
required to become a Master Restorer.
Justin understands the final product
is only as good as the work done before hand. Also, on Saturday's
Justin is
the perfect delivery assistant helping Kevin ensure the best care is given
when moving your treasured pieces between your home and our shop.
He
covers each piece with a furniture blanket and carefully straps the furniture
down for safe travel. The extra attention to detail makes all the difference.

David
Customer Service / Repair Assistant

David assists mostly on Saturdays with repairing damaged furniture items.
His skills are excellent as he thinks "outside the box" for the best way to
make a repair last.  When not working on repairs, he is available for loading
and unloading of customer's heavier items.
